Our story is far richer than the products we are known for, it all began at The Castle's small family perfumery in Scotland, where the brand was founded in 1996. Lady Forbes and her friend Andrew French embarked on a journey to create fine quality scents that honored the tradition of Haute Perfumerie, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty and countryside surrounding the castle. From the outset, maintaining prices that respected our patrons was always a priority for us.

In addition to our dedication to quality, sustainability has been a core value of our brand. Between 2001 and 2014, we implemented significant changes to our packaging. We transitioned from solid rigid boxes to folding board, switched our skincare containers from glass to PET, and replaced our heavy metalized caps with lightweight aluminum. These changes were driven by commonsense and a commitment to doing what we can, whenever we can.
